This is Lepaar's last batch of SUMMER WINE for now, keeping these in stock until the last bottle is sold.
A powerful antioxidant serum that infuses the skin with everything it needs to protect and recover. Sits sweetly under sunscreen, and is the perfect after sun rescue.
Promotes a more even-looking tone and luminous complexion. Enhances skin’s natural renewal process, softens the appearance of dark spots, and helps soothe the look of redness for a calm, balanced glow.
This is the third composition in Lepaar's Lockdown-conceived KAIROS TIME CAPSULE: In 2020 and 2021, Christo made natural wine with Brendon Carto, from Carto Wines, macerated moonshine bottles of Gentian bitters, and crafted wild beer with our friend Tim using our Kangaroo Valley spring water. Me, I sun-infused their leftover plant matter into biodynamic Olive oil, until the extracts sang of warm, boozy Summer days spent with friends who’ve all had to change their lives in those 2 years. - Johanna, the Lepaar founder
SUMMER WINE is a collection of the good 2020 moments we seized and the beautiful things we did. Time stood still and it opened a world of beauty.
Zero Essential Oils.
Skin Type: For women and men of all skin types. Especially benefits uneven-looking, pigmentation challenged, sun affected, and weather exposed skin.
Fragrance profile: A pitcher or Summer fruit-infused Sangria, a glass of aromatic natural wine with a subtle nose of barnyard funk. Layers of raisin, summer fruit, herbaceous lift, a hint of cinnamon, strawberry and faint vanilla – it's there and then it's gone, drunk deeply by the skin of your face.
Lepaar crafts all extracts by sun-infusing whole plant material into early-harvest, virgin cold-pressed biodynamic olive oil. The first harvest of unripe olives produces an exceptionally nutrient-rich oil with a remarkably high phenolic content, which naturally stabilises and preserves both the extracts and the skin.
Using this ancient method of bioactive botanical extraction, Lepaar co-infuses all botanicals in each composition together, allowing them to commune and synergise—enhancing one another’s potency and bioavailability.
Each plant component is selected for its specific purpose and its intrinsic connection to other compounds. Growing evidence supports that synergistic whole-plant extracts are far more effective than isolated single components.
