All ingredients in Calendula & Damask Rose balm are food grade and FREE FROM synthetics, alcohol, water and lanolin*.

*Lanolin is the greasy discharge from a sheep’s sebaceous glands and is used in many cosmetic products including those for new borns. Although highly soothing, often lanolin contains a heavy load of pesticides as the wool is bathed in chemicals to remove parasites before the lanolin is scoured out of it.

How to use: Massage as often as needed to soothe, moisturise and protect.

Dry/sore hands: use little and often as you would a hand balm, rub in until absorbed. For extra TLC use more generously in the evening as a  ‘night treat’ –  cover with cotton gloves over night for best results.

As with all oil-based Inlight products, this product is highly concentrated and a little does go a long way. Any excess may be gently removed with organic cotton wool, and it is preferable to avoid immediate contact with clothing after application, as some ingredients in the product may cause staining.

When breast-feeding - Gently massage a tiny amount of product onto the nipple area post feed.

Calendula & Damask Rose balm is in no way harmful to the baby and does not alter the flavour of maternal milk. However for hygiene reasons it is recommended to wash the area pre and post feed.

Nappy rash - Gently massage a little balm onto the skin as often as required to soothe or prevent the look of redness. The oil-based formula also repels water to protect against dampness.

This product has been formulated with sensitive skins in mind, and with its unique, 100% organic, synthetic-free formula, is safe to use on skins of all ages, including infants. If in any doubt as to sensitivity to one of the ingredients, we recommend conducting a patch test for 24 hours on an area of healthy skin before applying to the appropriate area.
