A minimalist hydrating layer crafted with just four ingredients, designed to deliver a lightweight, soothing effect for a refreshed look. Live Botanical's unique blend of hyaluronic acid (HA) in varying molecular weights helps enhance the skin’s moisture retention, giving a visibly smooth and cushioned appearance. Cold-processed aloe vera and freshly distilled green tea hydrosol add an extra touch of gentle hydration, helping reduce visible signs of congestion and revitalize your skin’s natural glow.

Scent: Fresh and overall very mild. Occasionally you may pick up herbal and other aromatic notes due to the distillation process and the variety of green tea used to make the hydrosol. No added essential oils.

Skin Types: Mild enough for the most sensitive, reactive skin types.

Texture: Light, clear gel. As Live Botanical's most lightweight product and hydrating layer it works well when blended with an oil to create a customized moisturizer. It can also be layered with a moisturizer to boost hydration.

Botanical Profile:

Live Botanical's aloe is cold-processed and certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) to maintain its integrity and purity, making it one of the highest-quality sources available in cosmetics.

Live Botanical incorporates a blend of house-distilled and small regenerative farm-grown green tea hydrosols, formulated with a pH close to that of the skin at around 5.5. This hydrosol base is crafted to support a balanced formulation for the skin's surface.

The formula includes close to 1% hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), designed for effective hydration without over-drying. Live Botanical carefully selects a molecular weight of no less than 80,000 daltons, as lower weights have been associated with increased skin reactivity.

Live Botanical's sodium hyaluronate is lab-created through plant-based fermentation, a sustainable, vegan-friendly process. As hyaluronic acid is naturally found in animals and humans but not in plants, this ingredient is a biomimetic match that suits a range of skin types. This sodium hyaluronate is Ecocert certified, sourced from non-GMO plant materials like starchy vegetables, beans, and grains, manufactured in the USA, and produced under practices that emphasize environmental care, including water conservation measures.

How to Use: After cleansing apply 1-2 pumps to damp or wet skin. While damp, apply a small amount of facial oil to soothe the skin.

If you have dry skin, add a pump of the hyaluronic acid to a couple of drops of face oil to your palm and create a micro-emulsion. Massage together onto the skin. Follow up with another layer of just facial oil to lock in the hydration.

For an alternative use: to help the absorption of your facial oil and give a more matte effect, add the serum under and a second layer on top of your facial oil. This is especially helpful for day use underneath makeup.
