LIVE BOTANICAL - Skin Balm

A variety of plant compounds work together to support the appearance of skin, helping it look smooth, even, and nourished. These compounds contribute to the overall feel and comfort of skin while supporting its natural response to daily environmental stressors.

Beyond facial care, this product is suitable for softening dry or chapped-looking skin and can be used on common everyday skin concerns such as minor irritations, razor burn, sun-exposed areas, cuts, or insect bites.

Includes Live Botanicals' Botanical Enrichment Method with advanced extractions and encapsulation for optimal bioavailability and performance.

Scent: Lavender forward with resinous undertones from Live Botanical’s house-made whole frankincense tear concentrate. The essential oil dilution is equivalent to 0.5%.

Skin Types: Skin with adequate or excess oil production. Also supports maturing skin. Can be used as a spot treatment or as an overnight moisture layer.

Texture: A soft, breathable balm that creates a protective layer on top of the skin. Designed not to settle into pores, with a lightweight fatty-acid profile.

Botanical Profile:

Calendula officinalis Flower: Rich in flavonoids, triterpenoids, and saponins, calendula helps soothe and refresh skin while promoting a smooth, even look.

Frankincense (Boswellia sp.) Resin: Full-spectrum extract, sustainably sourced, valued for supporting the skin’s appearance and overall comfort.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) Flower: Contains flavonoids, tannins, and sesquiterpene lactones that support skin’s natural look and provide antioxidant support.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) Flower: Offers calming and soothing properties for a balanced skin feel.

Lichen (Usnea sp.): Helps protect the skin’s appearance from environmental stress.

Buriti (Mauritia flexuosa) Fruit Oil: Rich in carotenoids, contributes to an even-toned appearance.

Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) Essential Oil: Supports the overall appearance of skin and provides antioxidant support.

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) CO2 Extract: Contributes to the skin’s overall look and feel.

Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) Oil: Closely resembles the skin’s natural oils and helps maintain balance and hydration.

Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) Oil: Contains linoleic acid and helps maintain a soft, hydrated appearance.

How to Use: 

For skincare: apply as the final step in your skincare ritual. While the skin is damp, massage in a pea-sized amount, focusing on areas needing extra attention. Best applied in the evenings or during the day if dealing with dryness.

For first-aid: on clean skin, dab a small amount on a cut, bite, rash, burn, or breakout.
