Founded by Allie Cameron, HINU offers carefully crafted, plant-based formulas designed to transform the everyday hair routine into a moment of reconnection and care. Each product is a celebration of longevity and the natural rhythm of healthier-looking hair.

Rooted in the landscapes of Aotearoa, HINU draws inspiration from the Māori belief that the head is the most tapu — sacred — part of the body, where strength (mana) resides. The journey began when Allie experienced hair loss due to chronic stress and turned to ancestral practices and botanical oils to restore not only her hair but her sense of calm and balance. Through the ritual of hair oiling, HINU was born — a space where care, culture, and reconnection come together.
