LIVE BOTANICAL - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum

A minimalist hydrating layer crafted with just four ingredients, designed to provide lightweight moisture and a soothing feel for a refreshed appearance. Live Botanical’s unique blend of hyaluronic acid in varying molecular weights helps support the skin’s ability to maintain hydration, giving a visibly smoother and more cushioned look. Cold-processed aloe vera and freshly distilled green tea hydrosol offer an additional touch of gentle hydration, contributing to a comfortable, revitalized finish.

Scent: Fresh and very mild. You may occasionally notice subtle herbal or aromatic notes that come naturally from the distillation process and the specific variety of green tea used to make the hydrosol. No added essential oils.

Skin Types: Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and reactive skin.

Texture: Light, clear gel. As Live Botanical’s most lightweight hydrating layer, it blends easily with facial oils to create a customized moisturizer. It can also be layered under a cream to boost surface hydration.

Botanical Profile

Live Botanical’s aloe is cold-processed and certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC), helping maintain its natural integrity and quality.

They incorporate a blend of house-distilled and small regenerative farm-grown green tea hydrosols, formulated with a pH close to the skin’s natural level at approximately 5.5. This creates a balanced and gentle hydrating base.

The formula includes close to 1% hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) selected for effective cosmetic hydration. Live Botanical chooses a molecular weight of no less than 80,000 daltons to promote a comfortable feel on the skin.

Live Botanical’s sodium hyaluronate is created through plant-based fermentation, a sustainable and vegan-friendly process. While hyaluronic acid is naturally present in animals and humans, this biomimetic form offers a plant-based alternative suitable for a wide range of skin types. It is Ecocert certified, sourced from non-GMO plant materials such as starchy vegetables, beans, and grains, manufactured in the USA, and produced with practices that prioritize environmental care, including water conservation.

After cleansing apply 1-2 pumps to damp or wet skin. While damp, apply a small amount of facial oil to soothe the skin.

If you have dry skin, add a pump of the hyaluronic acid to a couple of drops of face oil to your palm and create a micro-emulsion. Massage together onto the skin. Follow up with another layer of just facial oil to lock in the hydration.

For an alternative use: to help the absorption of your facial oil and give a more matte effect, add the serum under and a second layer on top of your facial oil. This is especially helpful for day use underneath makeup.
