Return Policy for Cosmetic Products

Thank you for shopping with us. We value your satisfaction and aim to ensure you have a pleasant experience with our cosmetic products. Due to the nature of our products and for hygiene reasons, we have a strict no exchange or refund policy on all cosmetic items. This policy is in place to guarantee the safety and integrity of our products for all customers.

Exceptions to the Policy:

  • Faulty Products: If you receive a product that is faulty or damaged, we are here to help. Please contact our customer service team within 2 days of purchase with your order number, the name of the item, and a description of the fault.

Customer Fraud Prevention Policy

1. Purpose

This Customer Fraud Prevention Policy is established to protect our business from fraudulent claims and to maintain fairness for all our customers. We are committed to ensuring that every claim is handled with integrity and that any fraudulent activities are discouraged and dealt with appropriately.

2. False Claims of Product Damage or Leakage

  • Shipping Inspection: All products are thoroughly inspected and securely packaged before shipment. Photos and/or videos of the packaging process and product condition may be taken for record-keeping.
  • Carrier Inspection: Our shipping partners are required to report any visible damage to packages before delivery. In case of suspected tampering or damage during transit, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier.
  • Customer Responsibility: Customers must inspect their order upon receipt and report any issues within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after this period will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
  • Proof Requirement: To process claims for damaged or leaking products, customers must provide clear photographic or video evidence showing:
- The condition of the package upon arrival (before opening).
- The condition of the product after the package is opened.
- A description of the issue.
- Proof of the product's batch number, if applicable.

3. Refund Requests

  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds are only issued for products that meet our policy criteria. False claims of non-receipt, damage, or product issues made to obtain a refund will be investigated thoroughly.
  • Investigation Procedure: If a refund request is flagged as potentially fraudulent, we will:
- Review all order details, shipping records, and customer communications.
- Contact the customer for additional information or clarification.
- Conduct an investigation with the carrier, including package tracking, delivery confirmation, and any reports of damage during transit.
  • Outcome of Investigation: If the investigation finds that the claim is fraudulent, no refund will be issued, and the customer will be notified. Further attempts to file fraudulent claims may result in the termination of the customer’s account and a ban from future purchases.

4. Legal Action

  • Fraudulent Activity: Any attempt to commit fraud against our business, including but not limited to false damage claims, non-receipt claims, or return policy abuse, is a serious offense. We reserve the right to pursue legal action against individuals who engage in fraudulent activities.
  • Reporting to Authorities: We may report confirmed cases of fraud to the relevant authorities, including local law enforcement and credit card companies.

5. Policy Agreement

  • Customer Acknowledgment: By making a purchase on our website, customers acknowledge and agree to comply with this policy. This policy is designed to protect both our business and our honest customers.
  • Policy Changes: We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

To ensure a smooth return process for a faulty item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at support@thegreenjunglebeautyshop.com with the necessary details of your order and the fault within 7 days of purchase.
  2. Follow the return instructions provided by our customer service team. This may involve sending back the product for inspection.
  3. Wait for confirmation from us. Once we have received and inspected the item, we will notify you of the outcome (replacement or refund).

Please note that the item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

BABY AND KIDS’ CLOTHING RETURN POLICY

If you are not happy with your order or the items are not the right size, you can return them to us within 7 days after receiving the order.

**Sale items and promotional discounted items are FINAL SALE.*

All returns must be authorized by emailing support@thegreenjunglebeautyshop.com and the shipping costs for the return are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All merchandise must be returned unworn, unwashed, and with the original labels and tags on it. Returns that are missing tags or damaged will not be processed.

Upon receipt of returned item, a store credit will be issued for the value of the item(s) less the actual cost of shipping and handling that was incurred by The Green Jungle beauty shop. We are not responsable for loss or damage in shipping items back to us and retains the right to assess a restocking charge.

*We do not offer refunds, only credit on an account.*

Please note that if a return causes your order total to fall below the minimum qualifying amount for Free Shipping to your region, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the total credit or exchange being issued.

The total amount refunded will also be subject to a 3% fee (except in Quebec). This fee covers the online payment processing costs, which are no longer refunded to us when a refund is processed.

To return your items:

  • Place the items in an envelope, a box or you can also use the original package.
  • Please prepare and protect your package accordingly

Once we got your return back and we confirm everything is in perfect condition, we will issued a store credit to your original payment method. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

For returns originating from outside Canada: please make sure you mark the box as ´return commercial sample´, otherwise the return could be refused, or we will be charged with customs duties, which will be deducted from your total refund.
